2 teens shot by masked men in Uttar Pradesh's Deoband

MEERUT: Two teenaged students were shot at by three unidentified masked youths in Uttar Pradesh's Deoband, on Saturday.
The students were taken to hospital. There condition is stated to be out of danger.
Vinay Kumar (17), and Siddhartha Kumar (15), both students of Class 12 and 9 respectively, were on their way to their school in Bhayla when the incident occurred.
The officer added Siddharth suffered injuries in his leg while Vinay was hit in the back.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC against three youths on the basis of complaint filed by victims’ kin, a police officer said.
“Initial probe has revealed that both the injured and those attacked them are students of an intercollege in Bhayana. They fought over rivalry between them to prove their supremacy,” the officer said.
SSP, Saharanpur, Vipin Tada said, “Four teams have been constituted to nab the culprits."
